With plastic bags a hot topic these days, we're happy to announce that local residents can now place all clean plastic bags in their curbside recycling bins.  From grocery bags to sandwich bags, and lots of types in between, go ahead and toss your bags in the blue bin!

Any clean plastic "film", including plastic bags and bubble wrap, is acceptable.  You can even recycle food-free cling wrap.  For more examples of recyclable plastic film, check out our Plastic Bag Recycling page.

And remember, while recycling is a welcome option for plastic bags, using reusables is always best.  So be sure to bring along your reusable bag when heading to the grocery store or farmer's market.
