Normal Trash Collection Schedule Resumes December 14

Normal residential and commercial solid waste collection services will resume for South Coast communities beginning tomorrow, December 14, 2017 with the exception of the areas of the County currently in mandatory evacuation zones. Solid waste facilities will be open as well.

Facility Closures and Trash Service Delays Due to Thomas Fire

The County's South Coast Recycling and Transfer Station, as well as MarBorg's transfer station in Santa Barbara, will be closed on Friday, December 8 due to hazardous air quality resulting from the Thomas Fire. Trash and recycling service on the South Coast will also be delayed by a day.

Hazardous Waste Collection Event October 7 in New Cuyama

This Saturday, October 7, the County Public Works Department will host a free Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection Event at the New Cuyama Transfer Station.
