Plastic Bags Are Trash

Due to a lack of markets and their propensity to contaminate other recyclables, plastic bags and film plastics, such as plastic wrapping, cling wrap, and small plastic pouches, are not currently recyclable in any of the jurisdictions in Santa Barbara County. Please do not place these items in your blue recycling container at home or at work.
