Site located at corner of Avenida de Los Arboles and Moorpark Road. Drop-off site for Nike's Reuse-a-Shoe recycling program. Recycling dumpsters are located in front of Southwest Market and Deli. Drop-off site available all days and hours. Through this program, athletic shoes of any brand may be dropped off, and when approximately 5,000 pairs are collected, then Nike will pick-up the shoes and transport them for free back to their facility where they are ground up and made into soccer, football, and baseball fields and weight room flooring; basketball and tennis courts and playground surfaces; padding under basketball floors; and running tracks. Only athletic shoes without any metal can be accepted. No dress shoes, shoes containing cleats, or shoes that are damp or wet will be accepted.
