Accepts donations from households and businesses of desktop and laptop computers, color computer monitors, and peripherals such as mice, keyboards, and modems from South Coast communities.
Computers are refurbished by local businesses, organizations, individuals, and by students at the Los Prietos Boys Camp. Students in the 4th through 6th grades without a computer are identified as recipients. Before taking a computer home, students and their families receive an orientation that includes information on the Internet and training on software programs.
