This is THE Guide
The Recycling Resource Guide is the information behind, and the inspiration for, LessIsMore.org.
If you need to carry a hard copy of the guide or would like to save most of the information from LessIsMore.org on your computer, you are in the right place.
The Recycling Resource Guide
The County of Santa Barbara started producing this guide for the community in the early 1990's. It has been about 20 long years, and many updates, but we still produce this gem every year.
To serve all members of our community, the guide is produced in English and Spanish during different years. For instance, the 2010 version of the guide is in English, and the 2011 version will be in Spanish.
This page is where you can come to get your copy of the guide to save on your computer. Think of it as downloading a version of LessIsMore.org for your home computer.

If you would like a hard copy of the guide, contact us and request one. The guide is and always will be free, just like LessIsMore.org.
What about the information on LessIsMore.org?
LessIsMore.org could be considered the most up-to-date version of the Recycling Resource Guide. Changes to the guide are made between printings on this site, so consider the information you find here to be more accurate.
That said, the guide does contain information not currently on LessIsMore.org, such as where to buy recycled content products. These things will be added to LessIsMore.org eventually, but the guide is still your best source for some information.
We won't be posting changes to the guide on this page, instead, we are going to focus on updating this site. Now that you've found us once, we think you'll be able to use this site again!
